God damn mate, the improvements over the years!

RiSUKU responds:

It's been a long minute man! My style def changed a bit from last time, haha :D

Loving the mesto vibes!
In the drop there is a weird bass that muffles a lot of the low end, I have some Serum presets that could help with the bassline if you'd like!

NeoNVoltz responds:

That would have been so useful lol! I use FL studio mobile though so I don't have access to serum xD. I'd still like them just in case I do get FL20 though. My discord is: Vexex#2987.

Edit: I 100% agree about the bassline. I didn't really know how to deal with it xD. Also Thanks Helzspring! I love your music. It makes me really happy that you loved the vibe :D

I'd love to remix this song!

ThatDeliciousCookie5 responds:

Of coarse!
Im gonna send you the project and song stems asap

The snares in the break are way too punchy and loud, and with the buildup the drop doesn't have enough energy pull to it. I wouldn't mind teaching you EDM for the transitions and to pull listeners in; A lot of potential! Keep up the work

Luisito-Music responds:

Thank you brother for your opinion, and thank you if you want to teach me, I would be very proud :D

Heavy UK garage vibes!
It sounds pretty weird at some points like 1:15 when the low pluck / filtered clashes, but overall it's nice
I saw you used a loop from Cymatic,
one thing I learnt, is to chop the loop into sections like open hi-hat, closed, kick, clap and add when needed. That could help bring elements and more separation between the sections.

Overall pretty good!

LIPGL0SS responds:

YESS thank u for the advice. next time i use a loop i'll remember to chop it up. im good with melodies and chords but i struggle so hard with drums in general

I like the bit-crushed pluck, it gives a very ominous vibe with the chords at the end.
I'd try doing a L-R pan with a filtered / 100% wet reverb pluck or a vocal. To drive that ominous feel.

Love it!

GlaceonDash responds:

bruh I made it in 10 minutes

Those transients tho,
-the mix is a bit all over, I would use a balance / volume automation to cut the audio when the kick hits in a more controlled sidechain.
-The main idea is pretty good, but, it's so loud it's hard to ear much of the ear-candy imo.
I love the idea you went with!
- The intro is a nice and catching, still a bit too loud when the Reese bass hits I'd add an impact / crash. The counter melody is one hell of a nice touch!

There is no real transitions when it comes to the "drop" of the song besdies the empty space, I would've added some kind of snare build even if it's quiet or have an endless smile / plate reverb wash it out with a mono / stereo automation to bring it back.

Overall, it's a decent track, but mixing needs a re-work.

Vnuchok responds:

Thank you for your opinion, and for the assessment I am not very professional in terms of music, but your advice will help me. I think...-

Glad to see the improvements you've made over the time <3
